Register a Fruit Tree

Have a tree that produces more than you can handle? Let’s make sure that fresh fruit doesn’t go to waste!

By sharing your harvest, your backyard becomes a hub for community connection. You’ll help provide fresh, local produce to neighbours in need while keeping Toronto’s urban orchard thriving!

Pick Fruit

As a Fruit Picker, you’ll discover Toronto’s “hidden orchard”: an urban canopy of cherries, apricots, pears, grapes, and more.

This role is a fruitful way to enjoy the outdoors, meet your neighbours, and bring home fresh, local fruit – all while helping us share the harvest with more Torontonians!

Lead Fruit Picks

Want to choose when and where you pick fruit?

Pick Leaders are trained to schedule, plan, and facilitate harvests in Toronto backyards between June and October.

To make the magic happen, they bring the picking equipment, teach volunteers how to pick fruit, split the harvest three ways, and deliver fruit to community agencies after the pick!

Receive Fruit Donations

Are you part of a social service agency or community group in Toronto helping folks navigate food insecurity? We would love to share fruit with your community to use in ways that works for you and your programming.

Get in touch with us and share a bit about yourself. We’ll get you onboarded and let you know what to expect.
