About the Event

Ever wondered what apples taste like before they ever reach grocery store shelves?

While most supermarkets carry only a handful of common varieties like Honeycrisp, Red Delicious, and Granny Smith, thousands of unique apple varieties exist!

At this exclusive virtual event, you’ll receive a curated tasting kit containing 6 brand-new, yet-to-be-released apple varieties developed in Lincoln, Ontario by the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre. Guided by leading sensory and breeding experts, you’ll learn how to evaluate flavors, acidity, texture, and profiles like a professional sensory scientist.

How It Works

  1. Purchase your ticket online by Friday, November 13th. Space is strictly limited to 50 participants!
  2. Saturday, November 14th from 10AM to 12PM: Collect your 6-apple tasting kit in the East End of Toronto.
  3. Wednesday, November 18th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 EST: Join our live Google Meet call with your apples, cutting board, and tasting sheets ready!
