2024 was a year of growth, adaptation, and community impact for Not Far From The Tree! 🌳 Despite challenges like reduced hours, early ripening fruit, and the unexpected recall of all 11 cargo bikes, our Fruit Picking Program thrived. 

With creative solutions and the dedication of our volunteers, we picked over 13,000 pounds of fruit and saw a 16% increase in the amount picked per session. New initiatives like our pilot scouting program and “Pick Equity” approach kept our community connected and engaged, proving once again the power of collaboration and resilience.
