SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR FUNDRAISING & EVENTS COMMITEE
Introducing The Roots Initiative
Monthly contributions support our work in a unique way. They’re the stable foundation that directly decides what programs and partnerships we can build every year, from events to equipment and how many new trees we can register. Every new monthly donor who joins our community is one way to say: We can.
The Roots Initiative is how we recognize and support our incredible monthly donors.
Why the Roots Initiative?
Roots aren’t the splashiest part of the tree, but their vast, intertwined networks allow plants to grow and keep the whole tree upright. Monthly donors aren’t as visible, but they’re a crown just as vast as the tree’s branches–one just as important to keep it alive.
How do Roots Initiative donors make an impact?
For $10 / Month | For $25 / Month | For $55 / Month | For $85 / Month |
Your donation will provide the essential equipment sets and supplies needed to harvest fruit from the trees of Toronto. | Your donation diverts food from landfills by transporting picked fruit to partner agencies providing critical fresh fruit access to city residents. | Your donation helps us to facilitate preservation workshops to engage our community all year round and support our agency partners. | Your donation supports a fairer wage for our summer harvest team |
