Groom Your Tree!

Regular maintenance, such as tree pruning, is important to protect your trees from injury and decline, while keeping them looking their best and their form in top shape.

We recommended having your trees on a regular maintenance schedule and pruning them every few seasons. Your arborist can help you work out the timing, which will depend on the age, size, and species of your particular trees.

Some issues you’ll want to look out for when it comes to tree maintenance are:

– Dead or damaged limbs
– Tree limbs growing too close to other trees and buildings
– Any significant imbalances in the canopy structure

The wind storm we experienced in May brought a lot of these issues to the forefront, as we saw a very high volume of fallen limbs.

By staying proactive with your tree pruning, you can keep your trees in good structural form, well-balanced, and safe.

Don’t forget about your shrubs and hedges!

Spring is also a good time to give your hedges and shrubs a trim. As the weather gets nicer, and we start to spend more time outdoors, we want our landscapes to look their very best.

We count on our green spaces to keep us happy and healthy – regular maintenance of your trees and shrubs is a great way to keep them happy and healthy too!

Be good to your trees.

Because your trees are good to you.
