10 Years of Fruit: 2017 Annual Report

We’re thrilled to present our 2017 annual report to you! Not Far From The Tree began with a single apple back in 2008. And since then, we’ve blossomed. Over the past ten years, we’ve harvested 150,894 pounds of fruit from an astounding 2,442 fruit trees thanks to our incredible 2,220 volunteers.

We couldn’t have done it without you — our dedicated supporters — cheering us on and helping us each step of the way.

Whether you’ve attended a fruit pick, collaborated as one of our partner agencies, supported our events as a volunteer, celebrated Toronto’s urban orchard at City Cider, or generously made a donation, we want to say thank you for everything. Our ability to grow and innovate year after year is only possible because of the tight-knit community that bands together with us to harvest, share, celebrate and steward Toronto’s urban forest. From NFFTT’s Project Director Megan Anevich and all the NFFTT staff, a sincere heartfelt thanks to you all for supporting us over the past ten years.

Please enjoy our annual report to celebrate all the work we’ve done together, and learn about where we’re planning to go in the years to come!
