There is a transition happening this winter at Not Far From The Tree. After three wonderful years, I will be stepping away from my role as Project Director to pursue a new and exciting career opportunity.
During my time here, I have met and worked with so many individuals whose passion and commitment to community building, harvesting Toronto’s trees, and increasing food access has been inspiring. Thank you for everything you do and for making this program what it is.
This spring will mark Not Far From The Tree’s 10th anniversary. I have no doubt that what began as an idea 10 years ago, will continue to grow over the coming years. I am grateful that I was a part of it during an exciting time of growth, and I look forward to continuing to support the organization moving forward as part of the committed community that makes NFFTT so strong.
As part of that community, I would like to be the first to officially welcome Megan Anevich to the role of Project Director. Megan joined Not Far From The Tree in 2016 as Program Manager, and is looking forward to taking the organization forward into our 2018 season. Stay tuned for more information on Not Far From The Tree’s exciting plans for the coming season!
