Fruitful 2016 Producer Profile – jarred

Fruitful is back! Not Far From the Tree’s artisan preserve collection is returning for 2016, and we’re proud to feature our producing partners here on the blog.

Their ‘high-maintenance hobby’ has expanded to include wine jelly, flavoured salts, and barbecue seasonings. Their original apple butter recipe is available alongside eleven other variations with different fruits and spices, like blueberry, rhubarb, pumpkin pie, and ginger. All the apples and other fruits come from orchards in Southern Ontario, with the wine coming from Niagara and the GTA as well.

They have three retail locations, and participate in many festivals and fairs, including our very own City Cider, and the upcoming Leslieville Flea Holiday Market. Stop by and try a sample!

You can find jarred at, and at the Leslieville and College Arts Markets, and Old’s Cool General Store. Their pear butter was made with pears from Al Ferri & Sons in Huttonville, Ontario.

Fruitful provides you with your very own batch of handcrafted products and preserves. Each item in your 2016 Fruitful batch is artisanally produced by one of five local producers with fruit hand-picked this season with Not Far From The Tree.

Fruitful packs cost $60 and can be ordered online now, with pickup starting mid-November. Only 200 packs have been crafted, so order while supplies last! More information can be found at our shop.
