Apples, pears and grapes – oh my!
So, you have a tree with some fruit to spare? We’ll help you with that! We’d be happy to pick your spare apples, pears, grapes, sumac, apricots, elderberry, walnuts, (and more!) and share them with someone in need.
To sign up for our fruit-picking and sharing program, just fill out the form below.
Couple things to remember:
- If this is your first time registering, please fill out the below form and contact us a week before your tree is ready to be picked, providing preferred dates and times for a group to pick your tree. Get in touch with us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 647-687-PICK.
- You only need to register your tree(s) once. Each year just contact us a week before your tree is ready to be picked, providing preferred dates and times for a group to pick your tree.
- Check our Fruit Ripening Guide to determine whether your tree is ripe for picking.
- Right now, we pick trees in 15 of Toronto’s 44 city wards (see them all here). Even if your tree is outside of our operating areas, register anyway. We’re always growing, and we’ll let you know if we start picking in your neighbourhood!
There are so many generous Torontonians willing to share their fruit, that we have more trees to pick than hands to pick them with! Even though we can’t make any guarantees, we’ll do our best to get to every fruit-filled tree.
